Evolving our offerings

Our conversation started off with gathering thoughts and notes on the newest aspects of our work for clients and partners that excite us most, and we would like to keep doing more in the future. Next, we talked about the most important and urgent changes our clients face and the benefits we could bring to them as catalysts for change.
Based on the signals from our explorative conversations, we brought together the themes that stood out to us most for joint reflection and further discussion.
To give a glimpse of some of the topics we picked up on:
- More dynamic working mode with more iterative cycles of diverging and converging than the classic 2-stage double diamond approach
- Increasing possibilities for blended approaches with both quantitative and qualitative data sets
- Opportunity to go broader as well as deeper in data collection and analysis, making use of AI tools in explorations of ‘what we didn’t know, that we didn’t know’
- Increasing importance of sensitivity to cultural context in a world of rapid global tech convergence
- Wider impact from projects by generating actionable and transferable knowledge for use beyond the core project teams
- Bridging more diverse groups of stakeholders in complex system transformations through the ‘designerly approach’ of collaborative and solution-driven co-exploration, co-ideation, co-analysis and co-strategising.
The discussion helped us to see the changes around us and our roles in them more clearly. We’ll definitely use these learnings in ongoing work with clients and partners.

Building Cultures of Care
In our work we need teams—not just to get things done, but to do them well, together. So much of what we hope to achieve is only possible through collaboration, support, and shared energy. And because we spend so much of our lives at work, how we feel while working matters. In our July 2025 session, we explored how healthy team cultures can create space for care, connection, and impact. What makes teams feel good and how can we create moments of meaningful connection?
Shaping impact on design, climate, and social justice together
The Reach Network is a global community of experienced, impact-driven designers committed to engaging in meaningful projects. Our Monthly Reach School provides a safe space to seek and offer feedback on ongoing projects, as well as to learn from each other’s experiences to enhance the effectiveness of our work. In a recent Reach School, we convened to discuss a prototype of an online guide designed for the creative industries aimed at making a positive impact on climate and social justice. This guide draws on ten years of insights from What Design Can Do (WDCD). Various professionals from the Reach Network were actively involved in developing the research and insights that formed the foundation of this guide. By engaging in meaningful conversations and sharing experiences, we utilised our extensive knowledge to provide informed feedback and assess the product's effectiveness in the field.

We enjoy collaborating with our partners in the reach network as they develop frameworks, workshop methods, or new theories. The diverse perspectives from around the world are invaluable in enhancing and deepening our understanding.
